Guided Tours
TarraWarra Museum of Art is delighted to offer your school the opportunity to visit our Museum and explore the diverse range of Australian art through a guided tour of TWMA. Package options are available. The Museum will provide a guided tour by the experienced personnel who will share the vision for this unique Museum and its collection, and address the complexity of the period of Australian modernist art which it features from the 1950s to the present day. Tours are offered Tuesday through Friday between 11.15am - 4pm, and an Education Programme Package for VCE students is available.
Tour Options
1. General tour - student
General Tours should include at least 10 and no more than 40 people. (Numbers can be negotiated case-by-case) Cost per student is $3.00 for a 40minute tour of the Museum. An Introductory Booklet to the Museum can be purchased for an additional cost $6.60 inc GST
2. Self-guided tours
Admission to the museum for students is free. However, an administration fee of $2.00 per head applies to groups arriving by coach. All groups, whether a tour applies or not, should book to avoid tour clashes and over crowding in the museum. nb: All teachers and chaperones are free admission
How to book a tour
Booking enquires can be made by contacting Isak Nilsson, on (03) 5957 3100. Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance of date requested. To book a tour please complete the on-line booking form. Tour confirmation will be e-mailed to the address provided on the form. We advise that a week before the tour you call to confirm your tour date, time and the number in your group.
