School Holiday Workshops: Collage and Construction inspired by Rose Nolan’s exhibition
This school holidays, join us for a playful, hands-on workshop inspired by Rose Nolan: Breathing Helps.
Children will explore collage, construction and collaborative genres to create their own unique artworks inspired by Rose Nolan’s ongoing dynamic series titled Flat Flower Work (2004–25). The workshop will focus on collaboration, composition, spatial awareness, form, materiality and the adding and subtracting of contrasting vibrant colour. Children will be able to take their completed inspirational artworks home to enjoy.
Suitable for ages 5–12
What to Expect:
• A welcoming, fun and inclusive workshop environment
• Artistic guidance from experienced Museum educator Jonathan Vyssaritis
• Opportunities for children to explore spatial design, colours, layering and balance
• Parents/carers are welcome to observe or enjoy the exhibition and grounds during the session
When: Tuesday 30 September
10am–12pm / 2–4pm
Cost: $25 per child ($20 Members) / $15 additional family member
Where: Eva and Marc Besen Centre, TarraWarra Museum of Art, Wurundjeri Country
