Children’s Workshops - Making Faces, Wonky & Weird!
After a tour of the Museum’s current exhibition, Discovering Dobell, workshop participants will look at the way different artists paint, draw and sculpt faces. With local artist Clare James, participants will be looking at the works of William Dobell in the Museum and turn their observations into their own works of art. Using ink and pencil for drawing and clay for sculpting, everyone will learn a few tricks, experiment and have fun making wonky and weird portraits!
Suitable for primary school aged children. Limited places. All materials supplied. We recommend children wear covered shoes and old clothing or a painting shirt.
