Crunch, Play and Draw! Workshops for children

Saturday 9 April 2022 - Sunday 10 April 2022
PAST EVENT

A fun workshop of foraging, mindful observation, and creativity galore, using nature and the magnificent Autumnal leaves as inspiration.

Join TarraWarra Museum Educator Sarah Metzner and local artist Brownyn Ward for a fun and creative 1.5 hour childrens’ workshop in which we will use the natural beauty of Autumn leaves gathered on the grounds at TarraWarra as inspiration and discover new drawing techniques!

Starting with a movement and mindfulness activity to enhance observational skills, the children will then forage for inspiration amongst the beautiful grounds at TarraWarra. Laden with golden leaves and found natural objects, children will draw, create rubbings, and develop sculptures from these seasonal offerings

Make the most of this beautiful time of year at TarraWarra by coming along to this wonderful creative workshop.

PS Art smocks will be useful as we will be working in charcoal as part of the process. It’s going to be fun!

$10 per child. Free for Members. 12 children per workshop.

Held outdoors in a marquee on the beautiful Museum grounds. Currently booked out. Email our team at museum@twma.com.au if you’re interested in joining our waitlist.
