Rosie Westbrook at TarraWarra Museum of Art

Sunday 12 June 2016
2-4PM

Rosie Westbrook is a Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist and composer. Classically trained in guitar and double bass, she has spent many years playing with contemporary rock bands, an influence which has lent an edginess and energy to her own compositions.

Rosie’s passion for visual art has seen her write soundtracks for a number of documentary films about featured Australian artists and also to develop live performance installations inspired by particular artists.

Rosie returns to the Museum on Sunday June 12 to fill the gallery with music inspired by works in the Panorama exhibition. Haunting, dream-like soundscapes punctuated by bursts of melody, music that is inherently cinematic and emotional, inspired by the stories within the paintings.

Free with Museum admission.
