School holiday workshop with Dylan Martorell

Presented by artist Dylan Martorell, fresh from his residency working with Buddhist monks in Thailand (pictured), the workshop will introduce children to various aspects of listening to sound, playing handmade instruments, playing as an improvised group and how to make a robot drumkit out of recycled / found objects.

Children are encouraged to bring their own materials that they would like to use in the construction of the drumkits. e.g pots and pans, tins, water bottles, but this is not a necessity.

For children aged from 5-12 years old.
