Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 March at 7pm

The Rivers Sing has been commissioned for the inaugural RISING festival. The first presentations will be staged at sunset on the opening weekend of the TarraWarra Biennial 2021: Slow Moving Waters exhibition.

Both The Rivers Sing presentation and the TarraWarra Biennial 2021: Slow Moving Waters exhibition, share a deep regard for environmental custodianship by honouring waterways and drawing attention to the connections between water, Country and people. This major new RISING commission comes from acclaimed Yorta Yorta/Yuin composer and soprano Deborah Cheetham AO, with artists Thomas Supple and Byron J. Scullin.

No reservations required, however limited tickets are available for extended Museum opening hours 27 – 28 March, including the presentation at sunset.
